I can relate to you in your poem as you tell where you get some inspirations for your poems. Places that we all see every day, but as a poet we can see more into the everyday things. I do think it is a gift that should be taken seriously. Some gifts of inspiration as your poem points out are from the heavens above. Those are the best ones really. I think you did a good job on this poem.
