Carol, this is adorable. I think everyone enjoyed the movie, Pirate of the Carribean. I know I did. You've entered a great creation, as always.

Wow carol you have done well with such few
words in getting across this story. The words
also take the reader to the event and gives
them a picture of that snow in their minds...
So hard with only 100 words...

Phil,
How are you my friend. Hope all is well.
Thank you for reading my little micro fiction. Thought of a better one after I posted this. If you have time, I think you will get a laugh, Touch of Green...Take care! Smiles, Carol

Hi Carol, I went and read this Micro-Fiction.
I think this fit the micro fiction genre.
Though needing to be short, the setting feels complete, there was a clear, beginning, middle, end, plot, people I could imagine, action. I left the story thinking snow in Florida. hmmm.
I didn't have to pause for anything that confused me.

Very entertaining and enduring,
one of those snap shot moments
that one keeps in the memory
photo book. Most enjoyable and
the twist on the end says so----
much, could be true. no nits
or spags. Lora

Cute.
A couple of suggestions:
'Pirates of the Caribbean' [Use double quotations " ]
"Blow me timbers;
It's "Shiver" me timbers, from when cannonballs would blast the wood timbers into shivers.

Cute story. The Pirates of the Caribbean movie and attraction at DisneyWorld are wonderful fodder for the imagination.

I have taken Steven, my youngest, to every Pirates of the Caribbean movie. My only fear is that they will make another sequel. I didn't like the first one, let alone the others, but Steven has loved each and every one. Your micro flash fiction was great.

Hi Carol, I cute little piece of flash. Well done in my opinion following the cannonball theme. I didn't spot any errors. Were they in Florida or was the billboard just there to tease them?

This was cute. You could have killed two birds with one stone for the contest, by putting coconut palms on the billboard with the bikini clad girl. This winter has been very strange. The Ottawa valley where I live, has had little snow this year. We're already well into spring, where many of the southern states were buried in snow. Who'd athunk it, eh?
I liked this very much. The Florida sign in the snow was an unexpected plot twist. Well done.

Sharesy,
The last few days have been in the fifties though they haven't promised to stay...At least the snow is melting away. I live in Illinois about 100 miles west of Lake Michigan....All I want is the sun!
Thanks for the kind review. Hope you are having a nice day.
smiles, Carol
