This is a very thoughtful poem - I can feel your introspective mood, Sue. Life has a way of lulling us into a false sense of security before dropping us in it. It flows well, with unforced rhymes. :)

Loved the visual that you chose.
So proud I was of my own strength
With confidence to meet
The challenges that life doles out
And not accept defeat
Liked the set up.
"So foreign, these dualities
The twain cannot agree "
