Yes, Peter, your silent plea does not go unnoticed. Humankind is destroying the earth's environment and we must stop before it is too late. This 5-7-5 poem is a haiku of sorts and speaks to the need to educate the masses about the destruction of our planet. I love the artwork by Seshadri! He is a master at getting the right feeling coming through when it comes to sending an urgent message.
Thanks for keeping it real and sharing the important issue of environmental waste with us at Fanstory.

-Great artwork and nice presentation.
-Your note is appreciated.
-You wrote a good haiku with a good topic.
-A good opening line, followed by
he result of "man's pursuits."
-A very good satori line.
-Very well done; good luck.
-Usually in the Japanese forms
capital letters aren't used unless
it would be a proper name.

Yes, unfortunately we are ruining our planet with our ways. Plastic was the worse thing ever invented and has become a curse. What I don't understand is that shops are still allowed to sell plastic bags if you pay for them? Why can't they switch to paper bags. This makes a mockery of reducing plastic and only encourages retailers to make more money. A fine post for the contest Peter, love Dolly x x x

Greetings Dolly
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns. It is indeed frustrating to see the continued use of plastic bags despite the environmental impact. Transitioning to more sustainable options like paper or reusable bags would be a positive step. Your perspective highlights the importance of encouraging businesses and consumers to adopt eco-friendly practices. I'm glad you found the post meaningful, and I appreciate your engagement with this critical issue.

What a great 5-7-5 poem. It is sad that our planet is being destroyed. There will be nothing left for our great grand children. The words are powerful and the picture compliments the poem.

Thank you for your kind words. It's always meaningful to hear that a poem resonates and sparks reflection. The theme of environmental destruction is indeed a poignant one, and it's crucial for us to acknowledge and address it for the sake of future generations. I'm glad the poem and accompanying picture conveyed that message powerfully.
Many, many countries have a huge stockpile of nuclear weapons. Once they start to get exchanged then it is game over.
Take care
