I expect a miracle from my morning coffee. I can feel the heat of it coursing through my body, waking me up for the day. Thinking about switching to tea,which I already know I won't enjoy as much as coffee, but I take cream in my coffee and I can do without the extra calories.

Ah, BB, I can't argue with you there. Especially now-a-days where there are so many choices. It gives a whole new spin on coffee in the mornings. I couldn't drink it most of my life because I was allergic, and then, one day, I could. Not all of aging is negative!

I really don't have much to offer in terms of a real review. I might even question the content. After all coffee is usually recognised as a stimulant, not as something soothing.
Frankly the poem is too short to offer anything in the way of poetic elements, although that's more the fault of the site for putting up a contest that is basically a crap shoot.

Excellent 2-4-2 poem for the contest. I love my first cup of coffee in the morning. My husband sets it up the night before so he only has to push the button in the morning and the aroma wafts into the bedroom and I'm up and ready to go. A soothing way to start my day.

Hey-- a lot of folks love these short forms. It's the 150 characters we have to type to review the eight syllables that make me want to pour a little something "extra" into my coffee!
