Oh no! Not cool! We need Santa in our lives...
He may not pull the sleigh but he does pull his weight!
Maybe the elves and reindeer need to be unionized!
Hey, it worked for the UAW...
Better conditions for them AND a happy ending...
A "binding agreement" that toys WILL bring cheer to children on Christmas...
And in July?
I'm all in on that plan!
Cute poem!
I'm ho ho hoing!

Hi Karenina, I really appreciate your review because you just let me know that the ending that I changed did not get saved when I clicked on it last night right after I posted it. It loaded for a long time, but when it finally was done, I was sure my new ending was on it.
Thanks for the fun and kind comments but I most certainly appreciate this information. Please check it again, as Santa does go after all.
Thanks again.

I did check! (last night was a challenge to load poems or changes)
Yay!
Happy Kids!
I amended my review to reflect your new ending!

Santas are certainly a happy thought; but this Santa got depressed as he had too much to do; at least his reindeer thought so but they did the work and Santa got all the praise. And then his sleigh was empty and needed some filling.

Rosemary, I thank you very much for such a kind review and comments.
However, I just realized that the ending that I thought had saved was different than the one that you read, Just thought you might want to see what really happened. LOL. Thanks again, my dear friend.

Very cleverly written, and it portrays all the modern work ethics of equity and justice etc. I enjoyed the read and the image, and send you very best wishes for the contest.

Excellent! Beautifully told and a joy to read! Loved the way your verse started with his ho, ho, ho. And then the story that evolved in this humorous account of conflict between Santa and his team. Glad to read that everything's now sorted and they're all back on the job! Good luck! Debbie

This is a fun story poem for Christmas and told a believable situation for poor old Santa with striking elves and unhappy reindeer. Hopefully, the Christmas will be in July when it's really winter in the southern hemisphere. Best wishes in the contest!

I enjoyed the sentiment here in this funny Santa post and I certainly hope he gets his act together before Christmas Eve as all the girls and boys will be disappointed if he does not deliver! I was entertained by your humour here, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

This did make me smile. Yes, it does seem that one person does get all the praise at Christmas, when there are lots of other people who put in a lot of effort as well. A well written piece. I enjoyed reading it.

Yes why not even poor old Santa has his difficult moments - with dissent breaking out even in Santa's realm - it's a super pic to illustrate -thanks for sharing

I suppose it was only a matter of time before the reindeer and elves went on strike. I bet they only get minimum wages too! Lol, this was such a good, fun Christmas poem, and a wonderful contest entry. Well done and good luck! :)) Sandra xx
Christmas in July? Now you're talking! It should be all year round. For some reason, people are nicer at Christmas than at any other time of year! Loved the ending!
