"Death is the wage that sin pays." << a perfect ending to your powerful poem. Indeed, it is.
"Like flowers, of different colors, Beneath our skin, we're all brothers..." Amen! I've written more than one poem using the same analogy. Bless you!

Thank you, Dawn. It is appropriate, as this is pointed out in Holy Scriptures.

Nomi,
Hate does not do a body good. It is damaging to the heart, mind, body and soul. It's damaging to family, community, church, all of life.
We are not born to hate, we learn it at a young age.
God, please change our ways before it's too late.
Nicely posted.

Thank you, John. As hate can be learned, it can also be unlearned.

Nomi, I think on of the hardest types of poetry to write is a rhyming poem that is commentary and philosophy. You added personal faith to the mix as well. And you did so in an outstanding manner. Terry.

A powerful poem speaking on a very relevant subject. There is a lot of hate in the world too much of it. I find it to be 50 fifty, and it's a crap shoot no matter who you deal with.
The world teaches us not to trust and moves us away from love. Spelling satisfaction or subject matter and has a great rhyming scheme. Good luck to you and have the best of days!

Thank you for sharing your God given wisdom with us. God sent Jesus to set the example for ALL of us. We are to love our neighbor. God created ALL people in HIS image. I feel to see the problem with this.

So nice to see a poem from you... but not on my Fan list and I thought you were a Fan??
I love this one... Hate is horrible and comes from oh so many things, envy, jealousy, etc.
it is so hurtful to the receiver...

Thank you, Lisa. Are you sure I'm not a fan of yours, or are you not a fan of mine?

This is an inspiring poem that reminds us of the teachings of Jesus, to love one another. Hate Hurts, both the person feeling it and the person it is directed towards. Love, on the other hand, is peaceful, and of God. Thank you for this powerful Sunday morning message.

Hate is very destructive.
Exceptional poem, very good rhyme and meter beat that are not forced and flow well.
I love the word imagery in your poem.

Thank you so much. It is a wonderful and powerful thing to touch someone with something you were inspired to write.

The author's poem is so true. I found comfort in reading these words,
as the author states, "We must practice brotherly love". The author states
on the next line "Directions from our God above"! Thank you for the
author's notes - they speak volumes! The artwork is awesome and
compliments these words well. Excellent Poem, Nomi!
