Thanks, Helen! This was a little eerie to me, but I am in the beginning stages of filling out a book of my final wishes (actually started it long ago and have had a hard time getting back to it) So figured if I did this it would be easier.
I also thought because of my faith, that I didn't fear death, but like I said, even with humor I was able to visualize it more than I thought I would. But that is why I wrote in Author?s notes that in order to keep it just as a humorous poem, I didn't include personal references to grandkids and kid?s names, and kept spirituality out of it. Then I could view it more as fiction!.

Believe it or not, it was a little eerie, as I normally only keep my head in the sand, not my whole body! Hey I might add that. Lol. But after writing that about the night light, I think I will be cremated. Thanksagain for your kind review.

nicely down light-hearted advice for planning one's own funeral. I would have gone down a darker more morbid take including praying to be late for my own funeral.

What a fun contest entry told with a lot of humor,
Mystery Author. You did a great job from the
selection of the picture, the smooth rhyme scheme,
o the story told. Your words flowed smoothly
with great and fun details. Yep, you told 'em so they

Lol, Paul I have had so many suggest things and everytime they do, someone else says it's wrong. I think I had it right in the first place but lol, I cant even remember what it was now. I am going to change it back to my 6 & 8 syllables again and leave it. Maybe it really was good then. I wish you would have seen it then. Thanks my dear friend!
