A nice 'if these walls could talk' tale. I think you did a good job starting with the very beginning of the family unit, the trials, hardships and joys the family experienced. Good idea with the horror ending for the poor house.

Thank you. This actually happened. Mom and Dad lived in the house until grandma died then moved into the other home. It was closer to the water well. I used to wonder if the house was lonesome when I was a kid. Thank you for the six stars. I appreciate them. Hugs
