Unless you mean something else in your author notes I believe you misspelled the fourth word, as I could not find it in the dictionary, but I did pick up on matrilineal meaning inheriting or determining descent through the female line.

Beautiful photos and little has changed because the same young energy of warmth, truth, mischief and mother love shine brightly still. Makes me feel like a hug.
We can look in the mirror and think that we see our self but as we look searchingly, into the face of a friend or enemy, our real self is reflected in real life. This image does not always look pretty of feel comfortable but it has a truth for us to discover.

Your few words cover a lot - from younger years to old age in generations. How we mirror our mothers in face/temperament can be rather disconcerting. The photos are a very fitting accompaniment. It would be interesting to compare them with pix of you.
