What a great rant that is quiet and respectful. I hate to burst your bubble about liking this - I think it is great and I agree with it all. In my 76 years, I have seen electricity come to my grandma's little house - now she is gone and it's a housing development. I have tried to keep up with technology and I reverted to my landline phone...at least I can slam the receiver on those idiot telemarketers. I live with 2 rescue cats, mind my own business, always vote, have had vaccines, and think this covid thing is a joke. I feed the homeless, judge no one, and think whoever you are, I like you a lot.

This is a great opinion piece for the the challenging times contest. We do live in challenging times, and all of us of around the same age have dealt with the same history. Personally I'm glad life isn't boring. I don't get frightened by the news as some do. If this is the end times, it is okay by me. I don't mind others having political opinions that differ from mine. I just wish everyone could live with the fact everyone isn't going to see things the same way. It all depends where we go for our information.
