This is such a cute story! Was the spoon ever used as punishment and so it was more alarming to see the spoon in the bed? I think it's cute that the spoon prank even continued until the next generation. A fine family story for the contest!!

No, not really! I threatened with it on the odd occasion. Once I smacked the dining table! So, no, the spoon in the bed was just a mysterious "non-event" that for some reason the kids liked to keep doing from time to time. We must be a bit of a strange family!
