There's an ethereal quality as you take us in this journey of beauty, healing, restoration and timelessness. Question:
the snow shines brighter in that patch of winter snow. (Did you mean "snow shines" or "sun shines" ? I think you wouldn't want "snow" to show up twice.)

This is an extremely poignant piece of writing where you confront and reveal your losses, and write about coming to terms with them. It reads to me like a journey to death, but I sincerely hope that I am misreading this and that you are more optimistic in life than in thoughts of the hereafter. Love Kate xx

Lyrical is definitely the mood here. This is a dream piece much like a fantasy without any drama, just peace.
The piece flows well. The theme is followed consistently. The words add to the images with melodic sounds.

Though life has thrown you some curve balls, you haven't given up.
