Diane,
This flowing and well rhymed poem reminds us of the healing and calming power of the beauty of nature in all seasons. Your book-ending artwork shows this. I think the first picture could be part of the Garden of Eden because it has all the parts of nature in one place.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Diane,
That I did. I am lucky to live right off a wild animal preserve so I have had deer and wild turkeys in my front yard.
You're welcome.

This is lovely. There is a peace to be found within, when you are close to the natural world. The beauty that God created for us can be a soothing balm. I understand what you mean. Thanks for sharing.

I loved this poem. It's is beautifully written and gives a very clear picture almost a painted canvas, as you walk through the the garden, the orchard and describe the wonders before you. Quite lovely. PM

Splendid poetry...not only well-done but a message of glory and your great God praising manner. I could smell the blossoms. Cherries are my favorite fruit and I eat a ton during the season. In Montana, my mother worked at the seasonal cherry cannery and would bring home the bags of seconds they gave employees. Nice work...

This is a lovely, lovely poem, Diane. I wish that I had such a inspiring place to visit and draw spiritual healing from. I would not change a word, but I did notice that the line "Sweet fragrances emerge" has six syllables as opposed to the five of the other lines. I mostly tell you to show you how carefully I read your wonderful works.
Hope you are having a wonderful day.
