This is a rather lovely and tender piece, dedicated to a very brave lady who, in the midst of coping with her sad loss, continues to undertake the duties she has volunteered for as far as thus site is concerned. She continues to administer the clubs for which she is responsible, concerned as ever not to let those who rely on her down. Thank you for supporting her in this way

Thanks for the review. I appreciate your comments about this poem for Yvonne, and supporting her in her loss. It is the least any of us can do for something going through this difficult time. She is a good friend to many of us here.

This was such a lighthearted spiritual poem, it brightened my day. You found great words and I liked your artistic imagery and artwork. Autumn is my favorite season.
But leaves in autumn will render
Our memories soft and tender.
Beautifully done.

This is beautiful in every way...the deep meaning and imagery, the rhyming and the format as a whole. This reminds me of the perfect sympathy greeting card we always look for at the store, when someone has a sorrow. I would buy this card.
Lovely poem for a lovely person. This is sure to touch Yvonne's heart:)

Thank you for the exceptional rating and review, Tina. I appreciate all of your comments and am glad you found the poem beautiful with deep meaning and imagery. I also appreciate the sympathy card comparison and that you would buy it. It took me a while to write something because it is hard to do these emotional tributes.

It flows so well that I would never have guessed it was difficult to compose. That's what makes a professional. They(you) make it look easy:)

The poem itself wasn't difficult; it was finding the right words to say for the situation. Words never seem to be enough sometimes.

What a beautiful poem, Pam. I'm sure it will mean a lot to Yvonne. I had no idea of her tragic loss, not having spent much time on FS recently. We're up in Queensland celebrating our grandson's first birthday.

Hello Pam,
What a lovely poem for Yvonne and her family.
I cannot fathom the grief one experiences when losing a child, but you have expressed emotions which resonate deeply with me, and I surely know they will resonate with Yvonne and her family...
Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the review, diane. I appreciate your comments, and cannot fathom this situation, either. I am glad the words resonated with you, and I'm sure this and others being written will offer her comfort, as well.

"The gift of love will over flow" is a wonderful use of words that is smooth and is fitting for the end of your words. I also like how the Autumn leaves are an image of heaven. Your poem gives comfort in a time of sadness.

Thanks for the review, Elaine. I appreciate you sharing the parts of the poem that resonated with you. It is not easy to write these kinds of poems when someone has experienced a great loss. I appreciate your comment about adding comfort, too. It is the least we can do.
