Oh, I'm so upset now, I'm so glad you let us know, I can't begin to imagine Yvonne's pain, I don't know how I'd cope if it was one of my sons. Your poem is so heartfelt, Helen, I hope it gives Yvonne some comfort. Prayers always help, but I think at the moment, her grief will be so raw, it will take a while. Nicely put, my friend. Sandra xx

I'm sorry for sharing the upsetting news, Sandra. It was devastating and I feel the same - I don't know how I would cope, either. I know - but I had to share with those who pray here. Thanks so much for praying, Sandra. Hugs!

Helen, this is a beautiful poem, and I am deeply sorry for Yvonne's profound loss. Yes, the loss of a child is tremendously burdensome and out of the natural order of life -- I know, because my own Mom suffered such a loss when my brother John died, just days shy of his 45th birthday. So true, "well worn words no peace obtain."
Thank you for sharing this poem, as I am one of the "souls who will her sorrow share." I am praying for Yvonne and her family. There are really no words. May her beloved son rest in peace.

Oh, I am so sorry. I haven't been where she is, so don't know how she feels. I cannot empathize, but I surely CAN sympathize and pray for her and her family. Your poem is well-written, sincere, and touching.

I am shocked to learn about Yvonne's tragedy--there can be no greater loss than that of one's child. I admired your rhymed quatrains and "will her sorrow share". Sighs- Joan

I was shocked, too, Joan. It's never right for a child to go before the parents. Thanks for the review, Joan. Hugs!
