We've seen ring-tailed lemurs and howler monkeys at the Memphis Zoo. You can hear the howler's all over the zoo. What a wonderfully story and a great idea for a child's book. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day and God bless.

I've never seen or heard them, but I'm going to see if there is a wild-life park here in England that have given some a home. The howlers must be amazingly loud, lol. Thank you so much, Mike, for reading this letter. I hope you are both keeping safe and well. This virus has been awful. Take care, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you, Dolly, what a lovely thing to say. I'm enjoying the researching, it's amazing how much this old brain is learning, lol. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about them. Hugs, Sandra xxx

Lemurs are cute little creatures. There's something about the ruffled that's intriguing, maybe his eyes, that stare or the mane around his head. Your chapter is very well-written, interesting, start to finish. I learned a lot about the little creatures today.

They are cute, aren't they. I'm not to sure about the aye-aye lemur, though! Lol. I liked the black and white ruffed lemurs, they really do look cute. Thank you so much, Misty, for another lovely review. I really appreciate your continued support. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Aw, thank you, Joann, that's so nice of you. I'm trying to make these animals as much fun as possible, that children will enjoy learning about them. Your words are so encouraging, thank you! :)) Sandra xx

Sandra,
Another excellent chapter. The lemurs are fascinating
as all the animals you write about.
Your book is suited for adults as well as children. I
believe parents and grandparents will read this book for
their own benefit and enjoy together exploring the lives
of animals. You are writing a fantastic book.
Blessings,
Richie

This is an excellent and loving project for you to undertake to help your grandson. I learned a lot about lemurs from you. Are you only doing one animal per letter? I'll be looking for more chapters as you write them. Very nice job.

Thank you so much for this lovely review, Earl. Yes, just one per letter. I did think about writing a follow up of other animals, but I couldn't find another X. I found a few Qs and Zs though, and of course, I've had some people on here trying to guess what the next letter will bring. Who knows, if someone comes up with a different X than the one I'm going to use.... I'm so pleased you will be joining me on this project. Thank you! :)) Sandra xx

I have given this six stars for a couple of reasons. First, although this book is being written for kids, I want a copy as soon as it is published! I've been reading each letter as you released it here on FanStory. Next, you have a wonderful poetic voice that comes through your words, your poetry is as delightful as it is informative. And finally, all of the extra notes about each of the animals is so educational, I learn something every time. Good job! I love it.

That is one of the nicest things said to me about my ABC book, thank you so very much. The six stars, was the cherry on top, but the cake was best of all. Thank you so much for both. :)) Sandra xxx
Comment from Louise Michelle
Another charming poem to accompany these interesting facts about an adorable animal. I had to smile when I read about the Aye-Aye Lemur and his middle finger. What I couldn't do with that little tid bit of information, LOL. Hugs, Lou

LOL, I can't begin to imagine, Lou! Thank you so much for the six stars, dear friend, and this fun review. I'm sorting out the M, now. Such fun these ABC animals are. Sending hugs back. :)) Sandra xxx

The stinkiest one wins. What boy wouldn't be intrigued and amused by such a fact? LOL! This piece is so well-written and informative. Facts about how they use their tails, that they have TWO tongues, and sometimes groom one another are among the interesting point.

I don't know what it is with boys and stink! A few years ago, my grandson wanted a fart piano (YES!), and I BOUGHT him one!
-
I have never heard of a 'fart piano!! LOL! It would be something Eric would love, too. I'm going to look on Amazon.
