Lizards are such amazing animals, but these guys with their swimming have always amazed me! :) :) Great addition to the 'zoo'... :) :)Thanx so much for sharing! ;) Yvette
P.S. Know things are a little shorter than my usual, but we've started readying the house to sell and it's a BIG undertaking. I'll pop in and out when I can! ;)

Oh, where are you going? Moving is supposed to be one of the two most stressful things to do, so I don't envy you. I wish you lots of luck. Don't worry about short reviews, come on when you have time, don't stress yourself out about these as well! Thanks for this nice review, my friend. It's always such a pleasure to see you. Take care! :)) Sandra xx

Yep, time to 'downsize'!! Goal of mid-June to put it on the market... :)

Aw, we did that 7 years ago, it was strange at first, but we didn't need a big house anymore. The housework is so much easier!! :))

I thought your text is not only educational but delightful to read. In fun facts: I would change Iguanas are cold-blooded. instead of started with the word, Being. The next sentence begins with They- more clarity.
Good luck and much success.

'I' see the Iguana has made it up to the alphabet book. The cute cartoon, descriptive poem, and the captioned pictures all bring the creature to life. Nice.

Thank you, Bill, for reading about the iguana. I wasn't sure about them until I started researching, and then I discovered how interesting they are. Thank you for the lovely review, my friend. :)) Sandra

Iguanas are quite pretty in their own unique way. I love the richness of the tiny bumps on their skin. Like living works of pointillism. You write very interesting works for your animals. Each one makes me want to find out more about the animals.

That's what I'm hoping Eric and his school mates will want to do. I shall leave a page blank for them to add what they want, or try to draw their own animal. Thank you so much for reading this one, my friend, I'm really pleased you enjoyed it. :)) Sandra xx

And the Australians call them 'goannas' which is an interesting corruption on their name. It seems we have a need to open our remarks with a hard consonant, or at least the Aussies must have such a need.

Oh, I like the IG in iguanas. It makes them stand out above the simple lizard, too. Thanks for reading, my friend. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandramitchell,
I - for Iguana is a lovely piece in English Alphabet's series having lucid phraseology, captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end, whether it's verse or prose, and beautifully depicting various kinds of 'endangered' Iguanas, their characteristics, habits and habitats.
Pictures enhance depth and beauty of the theme.
Entertaining as well as Educative. Superb!
UNDOUBTEDLY, LAUDABLE ATTEMPT!

What an amazing review, thank you so very much, RP! I'm made up for the day, now. :)) I'm delighted you enjoyed all the facts I've put in, and the pictures, they are fascinating creatures that I knew little about until I researched them for this book. Your review is so encouraging. Thank you. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx

You've given us a lot of information as usual. I find it a bit hard to like these, especially the larger ones. Interesting about the third eye, and I didn't know about them helping with spreading seed.

Hi, Judy. Thanks so much for reading this one. I wasn't going to make it so long, but my word, there is a lot about them I hadn't heard about. I've still left loads out. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about them. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Amazing as usual!
Typos:
"Their meals are mainly fruit and leaves,
and some small insects, too. (insects too.)
"Iguanas have a 'third eye' on the top of their heads. It's a tiny white scale between the two other eyes. These can only see light and dark shadows. What is most useful about this little eye is, it can detect motion; that's all they need to warn then if an enemy is sneaking in from above." (eyes. These) ( to warn them)

Thanks for all the interesting information. I didn't know about the "third eye!" My nephew has a pet iguana and I should check her out next time I see her.
I didn't know they were endangered. I hear there are a lot in Florida but when they have an unseasonable freeze, they fall out of the trees!

Thank you for reading this one, Helen. I can understand them falling out of trees if it's really cold. They love the heat and like to sunbathe, the cold is not welcomed at all. I think I must be part iguana, too. LOL. You'll have to let me know how you got on with your nephew's iguana. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I am again enjoying both the poem and the narrative in the alphabet book. I didn't notice any errors. I really enjoy your husband's illustrations. I know this will be a wonderful book when completed.

Thank you for another wonderful review, Elon, and all the stars! It's lovely to know that the 'grown-ups' are enjoying my series! I'm keeping my fingers crossed Eric and his friends will as well. 'J' is coming soon! Have a wonderful day. :)) Sandra xx

Thanks for leaving them up. I try to catch the meteorite shows, but often run into cloudy nights. Was lucky to see the eclipse with family and friends.
