Blessings, I thought this poem was really expressive of your feelings about who we are and how we get to be who we are in life. Your first line "Judge me not by my silver hair, nor the garment I chose to wear" shows that neither our age nor our status in the world matters to God and when he comes for us none of that will make a difference, only if we chose to receive his son, Jesus as our savior.

This is a well thought and written poem, full of truth and lessons. The roles we plays are seen, but who we really are underneath is hidden most of the time. What a strange garment indeed.

Such a beautiful poem with a deep meaning that I never thought to look at from your point of view you made. It truly is such a strange garment our whole life is as a whole but one that must be lived and embraced! Thank you for sharing your poem!

I really felt this piece. It's amazing what people do in their lives just to keep going. It's amazing how others judge without truly knowing the other person. I enjoyed this. Good luck in the contest!

nicely phrased and formatted, you have a beautiful way of crafting your words to speak beauty, hope, faith and the power to dream....thank you for sharing....I too have faith in the Almighty....here is something that might inspire you in math form.....
God is < 0 + God is > (I+1)
(I+1) 4 (1) + (1) 4 (I+1) (I+1) = infinite plus one or "all"
so therefore God is less than nothing
And God is greater than all
God has no equals
All for one
And one for all
Praise be to God....
Amen
Michael.....love in the dark

In this piece, I hear a prayer to be accepted for the way you are. There is no looking back and you are connected to another in the here and now. Before doesn't matter just the now, before it is too late and time has run out.
