I think most of us echo your thoughts at this time in Man's history Mary Kaye. Personally I think we're getting too much 'news' regarding this virus. Mostly 'false' unfortunately. Common sense - how scarce is that? and practical advice, would do far more good than the propagation of rumours and numbers. Not that the magnitude of same isn't important. I wonder on the mentality and thinking of some of the world leaders. who think they can stem the tide with a few ill considered remarks and ignore the life saving advice they get from the people we now rely upon! They seem not to be so smug today as the numbers of those stricken, rise dramatically. Times such as this, I stay at home except when absolutely necessary, and work in my garden, keeping an eye on what has been allotted me, to foster and enjoy. Doubly so for my dear wife, who requires my help - such as it is, for I'm not the greatest at 'indoor' chores, thanks to my poor vision. When Pauline says "Jump"! I ask "How high?" Lol. That's when I remember I have a large garden and lots of chores to undertake! Stay safe and have a great day. Worry can and will kill if allowed! Ciao Denis.

Thank you, my friend, for your excellent and thoughtful review. Absolutely, it seems we're getting too much news about the virus, which is why I can't keep the news on too long each day. When I get the general idea of what's happening, I turn it off. Of course, here in NYC, we do have a lot of activity, and sadly, many fatalities, so I do pay attention to some of the details -- especially as we have lost both police officers and corrections officers, public servants, this past week. We also have much to be grateful for: a lot of federal assistance, the USNS Comfort docking in our harbor and ambulances coming to our aid from all over the country, it seems.
You are absolutely right, we can't pay attention to all of the news, especially the remarks and commentary that are ill advised.
You are a beautiful pragmatist, Denis! I think you should definitely stay in that garden, because it sounds like a safe place, these days -- except when Pauline calls. The safest thing is to do as she asks, lol, and the same goes for my husband, when I ask him for help! Ain't love grand? God bless you both, and keep you safe. Ciao, Mary Kay

A very well-written prayer to God to save us all from this invisible threat we are all facing today. We are all very vulnerable to be infected unknowingly at any time.

Thank you, Sandra, for your excellent and thoughtful review. Yes, now is the time to reach out for God's help -- it's always the time, but now, especially. Stay safe.

God knows our needs and some prayers will be answered, others He will call them home. I appreciate your heartfelt prayers and even tho' it made sound a little cruel; when there are too many animals, we cull them. I believe the Lord is sorting out the wheat from the chaff. Blessings and Happy Easter my NYC friend!

Thanks for your excellent review, Kay, my friend. I know that people are always going to die; it happens every day and always has, but it doesn't always happen so much from a single cause. God's will always prevails, but we can and must go to Him with our needs and petitions; He desires our fellowship and communication. Even if the answer is sometimes no, I believe we must always ask, especially when faced with a dire situation. God would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah for the sake of only five people. Wishing you a blessed Easter Week and Resurrection Sunday as well! Although we will each be in our homes, we will still celebrate because it is a day of hope. Stay safe and God bless you! - Mary Kay xoxo

Mary Kaye this is a beautiful gesture and a most unselfish prayer. If you are worried about missing someone, don't, I believe that you've pretty well covered most everyone.

I wish I had a six star for this chapter. I think you thought of everyone. I might have missed the homeless, but I am sure you must have included them. Wow! I pray and agree with this prayer for all. In Jesus Name!
I am going to read and pray with it everyday to help me remember all. Thank you so much for writing this. Also, I am saddened to hear of your friend who passed by the virus. You are in my thoughts and prayers too.

Thank you very much, Drew. Yes, the homeless are in there. But I prayed it with my Tuesday night prayer call group and they brought a few others to mind that I went back in and added. Thank you for your excellent review and also for your condolences. God bless you, my friend, and keep you safe.

Beautiful prayer and very clever way to make other people reading so the positive wave can hit the sky. Thank you my friend for sharing and stay safe.

Beautiful prayer, Mary Kay! Thank you so much for all you heartfelt covering of all these situations with this prayer of faith! And it comes across even more powerfully because you survived this virus yourself! And I will pray for comfort for Tessie's family, too!

Thank you very much, Helen! Thank you also for starting this book, which inspired me to write this prayer. I shared it tonight with my telephone prayer conference group, and so we prayed it in agreement (I joined it, and another several years ago, and the two prayer groups I call have become even more of a lifeline because of this quarantine). Thank you for praying for Tessie's family, especially.
