Hi Janet. That is a really cool graphic you have included with this poem. Those are some very thoughtful and meaningful verses and phrases contained in these lines. Strong images.

I have not read something written by you for a long time, but I adore this entry. You are playing with so many artistic concepts . I really like the first stanza, life is a washout when it has no passion--
and what is passion but the intensity
of one's drive to elevate something
to a high level of perceived value.

Thank you greatly, Iza. I'm so glad this resonated with you and your positive comments are really appreciated. I'm in a time crunch and can't do as much as I'd like any more...partly because I've been working on this project. Some of the pages take hours and hours, but I love doing it all. Hugs, Janet

Love that definition of passion. It sounds like this is a free-verse prologue here. I like the 'd' alliteration in despondent downfall. Sounds like you covered most of the arts here, too. Thank you for a neat introduction to your book.

Passion is indeed the fuel encouraging humans to follow their dreams. Most people do develop a passion about something they like, but it only becomes meaningful and useful if they work at it. Well done!

This very much peaks my interest , dear Janet. I'm sorry to say that I have no six for this, for even the introduction is so outstanding. Your concepts are clear and concise and I hope to see hope to see more in the days ahead.
Sending you my best today as always, and blessings for your endeavors.

Virtual sixes are always a positive and strong encouragement...much appreciated, Sally, and I'm so glad you like this posting. The artwork takes hours and hours so I won't be adding pages but maybe once or twice a month. I have been working on this project for quite a while and it'll probably continue for the rest of the year. It's definitely something I love working on, but it has been cutting into my review time a lot. Thank you greatly for being so supportive! Big hugs, Janet

Hi Spangle, I like this a lot... I suppose this is one of the reasons why, even when poets have a plan in mind for what they're going to write, a lot of times, your muse follows its own path anyway and it ends up being completely different than what you intended. :)

Loved this, Janet! I'm so excited about this book. Your words made me want to go paint something! I felt the emotion of the composer and I so agree that when we write, we share our heart and soul!
