This sounds like a great love poem for the contest. It seems even better that you wrote this for your life long friends when he had a heart attack.

This is a lovely Sonnet about two people sharing their lives together as one. The artwork is beautiful, with bright colors accenting the beauty of their love for each other. The flow is smooth, the rhymes are well chosen. I especially like the two rhymes, "foresee" and "dignity." If I could make one suggestion or rather a query, it would be in the second stanza the second line, the first word, is it meant to say "though?" or was it meant to say 'through?' I am not sure, but I thought I would point it out in case it is a typo that you can easily fix. My mistake if "though" is what you meant. I love the feeling of tenderness expressed in this. And I appreciate the author's note and update on Jim's condition. Thank you for telling the love story of friends of yours. They are very lucky indeed.
