Honeymoon memories are indeed fond memories. They are memories that can be relived for as long as can be. They are memories that can rekindle a dying love. I think bougainvillea blossoms should be on a line.

Thank you for sharing your insights. The rules for this particular contest stipulates each line as 2, 2,5,7,5 syllables. That is why the poem appears like this.
