Being a big fan of birds, I love your pleiades poem. They are so cute and hilarious and you've captured their antics to an F. :)

Great luck to you in the voting booth with this fine and uplifting poem. :))

I love it! I miss the birds I won't be seeing them for a few months. A great entry for the contest. Thanks for sharing some spring to cheer us up. All the best, Laura.

Oh my goodness, we have them year round...their numbers vary, but I wouldn't know what to do without them! Thank you for stopping by!

A lovely Pleiades Poem! I don't know if it had to rhyme but your rhymes flow naturally and of course, there's so much alliteration of f- and s- words! And I feel the fluttering, frenzied antics of finches in the poem!
Best wishes in the contest!

This is a very nice Pleiades poem. I love the birds at my own feeder year round. Your poem describes how meaningful their antics are to us. Image is gorgeous. Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn

A very well-written Pleiades poem about the Finches coming around in your garden to cheer you up with their cheerful chirps of delightful songs. The birds excited chirps just wake me up a few minutes ago at 5AM.

Ahhh, more poetry for birdbrains ... I approve! Line two is chirpfully charming, and alluringly alliterative. Five finch-feathers.

What a delightful poem! Virtual 6. I love watching birds, too, so your poem and chosen picture struck a chord with me. Imagery is beautifully portrayed ("bird ballet") in skilful ABAB rhyming and lines of 10/8 syllables for a lilting rhythm.

I've been watching silvereyes eating and frolicking in my plum tree this afternoon. The tree is alive with happy chattering.

I could sit and watch and listen to them for hours! We have so many different kinds.....it's like Grand Central Station some days! ;-)

There's been a lot of predator-trapping in our area, so the bird life is getting more prolific here, which is wonderful. But it does mean that the birds will get the plums rather than me!

This is a darling finch poem in Pleiades form (one of these days, I will get used to spelling that). I love, love, love the F alliteration with "Flit and flutter," "Fun yet frenzied", "Finches are favorite friends" and also 'b' alliteration in "bird ballet." This is the kind of poem that gets inspirational juices going for a bird-loving reader! Fun photo, too.

I think this is a good entry for the Pleiades Poetry writing prompt.
Your Finches verse is well written and well rhymed.
Well done and good luck to you with the contest.
