This story is charming and it reminds me of a day when I was out on a two mile walk. I was just about home when the bowels let lose and the smell was horrendous. It was a good thing I was outside.

OMG. I can see this happening with an uncontrolled bladder or diarrhea, but this more like a tsunami of a bowel movement. Great use of sensory imagery. I almost said appeal, but it's far from that. LOL

Oh dear! What did he have to eat just before? Or, was he sick? I was afraid that the car was too smart would have taken some unexpected action. That sounds so humiliating. Poor Richard!

Yes,**it happens. A lady I knew had the same situation and sped like mad to get to a rest stop. When a cop stopped her and she started to explain, **it happened. He said he believed her and told her to get going because he was going to upchuck if he had to stand around long enough to write a ticket. This made me laugh.
