Wow first of all I am sorry for your loss especially when I read it is a bittersweet news . Excellently told for the contest and had me totally enthralled as my brother and I are separated not only by miles, but anger.

First, let me express my deepest sympathy over the death of your sister. Your post is a tribute to her. How time goes by and before we realize it, it's too late. But then, your sister probably had as much of a chance to reach out to you as well, so you need not think it was only you. (not that should be any of my business to say) Take care and know she's probably looking down on you and telling you not to worry about it.
Bless you!
Patty Palmer

What a very moving and emotional story. Could feel the emotions come through in the words too. A sad yet superb piece and one that brings the thought to mind that I can see why you did what you did, when you did it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing

Wow. The stressing of family...in more way's than one. I have six sibs, three male, three female, and while like one sis & one bro, it always becomes apparent, that we are each, uniquely different. I sense the guilt in your story, which I have often felt, yet also realize, it's up to others to reach out, IF THEY WANT TOO! life is NOT always a one way street!

Thanks for sharing this heartfelt story about a broken family and never seeing your sister again. It takes a lot of guts to even write about that. I can feel the emotion in it.
