This is a very well written and good chapter. This had a lot of action in it due to the flirty nurse. I would have been like Cathy. You used great descriptive words and great dialogue too. I enjoyed reading this very much. I did not see any spag or errors. Blessings, Teri Keep on writing you two!

Yeah. That nurse would've been a patient when I got through with her. The nerve! LOL. I'm not really the violent type. I probably would have just paid a visit to the Hospital Administrator's office and had her reassigned to either the geriatric or the psyche ward. Either way Bill would be someone she never saw again! LOL Still kidding. I couldn't resist. I love every installment of this that I read. I can already see the movie in my mind's eye! Well Done!

This does sound like an old movie scene - fighting over their man - him in the hospital bed, eyeing the nurse's attributes. A lot of melodrama for a man who's only there for a short while. Strange nurse.

Cathy sure has a temper when it comes to her man. Doing what she did, the nurse deserves what she gets, and so does Bill with his roaming eyes. It's well-written, very interesting, realistic start to finish, of course.

Good for Cathy! That was no way for a nurse to act, and I hope she gets the sack when the doctors hear what happened. I would have done what Cathy did, and then given Bill a ... what did Grampa say? Thashed his tail!! LOL. He would deserve it too! What a great chapter, Cathy, you wrote this so well. I can't wait to read what happened next. Let it be a warning to Bill!! LOL. :)) Sandra xx

Oh my! Jealousy is really a dangerous thing. The nurse should be reprimanded though since she started it with her suggestive behavior and knew perfectly well that hospital staff is NOT allowed to dally with the patients. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

I enjoyed your collaborative chapter Cathy and Bill. The story is progressing well. This is an awesome chapter.
I like the focus of it as being entirely set in the hospital. However, it has many different tangents of interest. Readers learn more about each character through the dialogue, the flashbacks, and why each one acts as she or he does.
Cathy shows her anger in a way that many would--by lashing out at the unprofessional acting nurse. That nurse is a sad example of how to behave. Grandpa, as usual, takes things in stride and knows what to do in emergency situations when he breaks open the ammonia smelling reviver to get Cathy back on her feet. Also, he understands Bill better than anyone else. He cares deeply for Cathy, too. Bill's mother acts like I believe most mothers would--unable to deal with the situation at the time. And Cathy--a Tasmanian devil when it comes to her soulmate!
I like the flashback scenes to remind readers just where Bill came from and why his flamboyant personality is the defining part of him, as has been all his life. It is great to read of the closeness of his family. I could go for one of those hot biscuits right about now.
You ended at a crucial point to draw readers back. I found the videos interesting that remind readers of the time period this novel is set. I don't know either one and only watched a few minutes of both, but I will come back later.
Thank you Cathy & Bill for sharing an excellent chapter in this most interesting novel. Jan

Cathy sure is ticked off at Bill for flirting with the nurse (I for one am not happy to see a nurse act this way..LOL I'm a nurse and we don't act like that. She would be fired~) So we've come to a cat fight! I enjoyed yet again another chapter of Love Long Distance!
