Great contest entry and I wish you good luck. The illustration complimented your poem. I liked it because it gives the reader insight into how we manage to bring a poem together. Well done.

Indeed! A poem can say so many things through the use of metaphors and allegory. It's what makes poetry so unique and interesting. It is like some sort of mental telepathy, at times. Reading a word that means one thing but knowing its deliberate other meaning. Right? You seem to have hit the nail on the head.

I really like this. What an excellent message that you've conveyed with just 15 syllables. This is a clever and very well thought out way to describe poems. I like everything about this and enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

Excellent fifteen syllable entry. Very understandable in three short lines.
Not just words buy with meaning. no way this can be improved upon.
Excellent contest entry

I really like your concept, naturally, and the lines work as real lines, rather than just chopped to meet the syllables, so that is a very fine accomplishment! This is a true poem and a lovely one!

Hello Author, these are 15 exquisite little syllables! I wish I had a 6 for you, I really love that you see into the words of the poem into the soul of the poem the way you can see inside the light into its rainbow world. :)

It seems counterintuitive that fifteen little syllables could even approach something meaningful... WRONG! You touch my heart with your observation of what poems are, why they are beloved, how they move us...
Brevity does not mean shallow, clearly! The depth here is profound!--Karenina

So very true. I believe that a well written poem can say different things to different people. This was stated in a most wonderful way, for you have summed it up beautifully in just a few words. I wish you only the best with this entry!

This fifteen - syllable poem, Beyond the Words, presented in three lines and eleven words, reminds us that what is written forms a key to many locks and a mirror to several reflections.

A very well-written fifteen syllable poem about the words in poems that need to be ssen beyond what is presented to the reader. Not everyone can see beyond the words that are written.
