Oh what a amusing poem. I love to camp and when it comes to bathroom standards campers must be flexible. Very well done and good luck in the contest. ;)

Ummm, I'd like you to have a shed with a half moon on the door too. (LOL) Which raises the question, does anybody know why the half-moon is ON that door? Fun poem, and use of the required words. Good luck.

Thank you for your kind words. The half moon started in colonial times as a means of identifying gender bathrooms. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review my work.

OH! Lovely bit of trivia that's nice to know -- thank you!

OH NO... I'm out of sixes, but I LOVED reading your humorous poem. Your sense-of-humor!!! :) What a great response to this writing challenge/contest. You had me giggling with your creative use of the dipper and half-moon door. :) Best of luck to you in this contest.

Wow, luxury accomodations. Our outhouse had strips of rubber tire for hinges and sat over a small stream. No smells, no flies, fortunately no downstream neighbors for miles...today they would throw you under the jail for such doings....

Good idea to sit it over a stream. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review my work.

This is a clever, creative and humorous response to a challenging contest. You've woven all of the required word into a comically written story that some today may never have the opportunity to experience. Your poem brings back memories of camping in the boy scouts and the dreaded outhouse in my grandmother back yard.
Smiles :-) :-)

I was a boy scout in those days too. We had an outhouse at home too. My dad wouldnt pay $500 for a new septic tank. That is until one fine day in November that my mother had to use it. She changed his mind real quick. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review my work.

When I was a kid, I lived on a farm in Ohio. The people that lived on the adjoining farm had an outhouse. It was a convenience I was glad not to have. Have you hugged your plumber today?

Fun. I like it. I have no sixes, this might rate one. I think you have fulfilled the contest conditions well. I know what you are talking about as I live on an island in the summer with an outhouse with no roof, door, or half moon. But it suffices.
Thanks

You did it! You used all the words. What do you mean real poets? You are now a real poet and I agree, an odd combo of words. I struggled with them a bit. This is really well done. I love the pic you chose and the topic and you stayed within the parameters of the contest. Well done! :) Good luck in this most unusual venture.

Such a funny poem using the required words.
I do like especially the following funny words or phrases:
spacious bathroom
pee and poop
behind the lilac
do my business behind a fir (tree)
etc.
