This is a fine fiveseventyfive poem, Lo. The form isn't as restrictive as haiku so definitely imagery can be alluded to without concrete imagery.

Hi, Lo. Beautiful entry in this 5-7-5 contest. I have read many of them as I do my reviewing and this is by far the best in my estimation. It tells a complete story in so few words.

Nice. I like the 5-7-5s that go above and beyond the syllable count requirement as yours does by including rhyme and a wonderful, coherent image of love at its acme. I don't think my arthritic knees would let me propose these days. Good luck in the contest.
