Perfect 5/3/5 with a beautiful message of hope after a frigid winter; very well composed in few words reflecting plenty of hope; thanks for sharing and good luck!

Hi there,
I don't know if there are any specific rules about the lune poetry. I'm just going on the 5-3-5 syllable count which you have done superbly. We have a family contest as to who sees the first robin of spring. You have a pretty good aha moment or awareness moment in your first line. Lines two and three give the description. So this is haiku-ish. You even have a season reference. I love the picture. Best wishes to you in the contest.

Thank you, Joy!
I am very pleased that you appreciate my poem. It took me ever so long to pen this! I must have edited it at least a dozen times...attempting to find just the perfect words to express my message!
Best Wishes,

Very good, kept to the 5-3-5 model. Words paint a picture that reveals man's hope lies in overcoming the cold. Can also mean Hope conquers man's fears with a bird's sweet song.

Such simple phrasing and yet you have said so much. The singing of birds often heralds the Spring, and I know I am not the only one who relates to the moment the song is first heard as a sign of hope. Well done, succinct and pure.

Just lovely. The photo adds much to the impact of your words. I'll hold onto that thought today as I freeze. I would not change a thing. Good luck in the competition.

Hello Dolly!
I am hoping spring arrives soon, too! But I fear that we have about six more weeks of winter.
Thank you for your kind review!
