I really like this poem. It's the first I've read of this style, but I feel you did well with the challenge. I particularly like the shimmering magically/magically shimmering reversal. I also think your first and last image "reflection in symmetry" and the reverse are the most powerful, which are perfect to open and end the poem with.

I think these are one of the most difficult styles to try. They are some that I ponder the longest, that is for sure! I have a couple in my portfolio, not many. Good luck with yours. :) Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

I had forgotten about the meaning of Palindrome poetry. I so enjoyed reading it before I realized what type of poetry it actually was. The picture, of course, enhances the words so that I can visualize the words moving thru the water. Beautifully done!
