Cool poem girl--even cooler story behind it.
I was thinking that this was part of an ongoing series you were doing about yourself. When I read your notes I realized that you're an awesome friend to those in your life.

_ The best thing for me was to meet Tom later in life. Makes me appreciate him all the more. Charm, mixed with compassion and honor--very hard to come by these days. I have them all and sooo much more with him. Blessed to the max.

Hey, Missy. You should never feel you have to apologize for not being able to promote to stratospheric levels. Your TRUE fans would read your work for two cents. I often do (when I can) because of the topics I deal with. Death, mayhem and murder...no one wants to read about that depressing stuff, LOL.
But this...this is anything BUT depressing. This proves that there is someone out there for anyone, regardless of their circumstances, age or standing in life.
And I for one think that's a very nice thing to know.
I'm really happy for these two. May they grow older, together...

Anyway, enough of my silliness. This is great news that two lonely people have found love on line with help from you.
Very romantic poem, without being too mushy. I assume it's written from the POV of the lady in question, and NOT YOU, though of course any writer with imagination and experience can use those tools in a sort of 'cross-over' write to imagine the feelings of others.

That's what my pretty pet parrot, Polly, says to me, Missy.
I'd be OK, but she ate my meds. Oh well, I now have crushes on a couple of saucy seagulls that have started to hang out outside my lounge window. Polly is livid with jealousy, but serves her right. Haha.
