Well, you know already that I don't know the first thing about poetry, but I do know that a poem is just a bunch of words to express what a person is feeling, needing, and/or envisioning. So, if it touches your own heart, as it does your readers, then I would say have to say, what a nice poem. :-)

This is a realistic, romantic poem (yes, I think it definitely is a poem).
Companionship is a precious thing, but even better when it is peppered with romance. How sad when there is nothing left in the eyes.
You've expressed it so well. Nice job.

Faye, it is so sad that some think with age that the desires are gone...I have just found my stride...lol. Companionship is a good thing too I guess.
