Is this pooch studying to become a stripper? hahah....love the pic. Your lines are humorous and remind the reader that it is indeed, a dog eat dog world. Excellent use of words to make the reader laugh.

How funny and perfectly fitting, as I literally just got done teaching my new dog her third trick...it was not, however, climbing a pole. Quite the opposite: "lay down". I like how I you have the traditional 5-7-5 syllable count, and I love your last line about the dog eat dog world:)
