I had to read this twice, but I think I got it on the second read...is this implying that a gingerbread man can also be a gingerbread woman? Just teasing!

I like the coined word GENDERATION gap. Makes a clever satori-esque witty pun.

Good alliteration of the CH sounds in check and choice.

Good word economy.

Fine post, with apt artwork.

Love,
rd

Thanks, rama. I wonder if the day will come when forms recognize different wiring.

I love this Shari....how about ...man woman confused?
Well done
Sad to coin a new word or that we need a new word coined..
God bless

hhhahahahha, how fun was this, and so fitting for the times, more and more young children are coming forward with this condition, i feel it is a cross mix up in their hormones, did you notice any of this when you were teaching?

I know I had one who confided in me--just the lesbian bit though. She ended up marrying a man however. Thanks for the exceptional review.

Well, you know where I stand on this issue. I check the brain...that's what determines the gender. Absolutely great work with this one. I think you did a terrific job with this and I just love the illustration too.

That story touched me deeply and I am so pleased with the positive responses I got for it. I was worried about getting a lot of flack for it, but didn't.

Hi Shari, you've penned a clever poem about gender identification issues and the often incommensurable views of the older generation with the younger ones on these issues. Good word economy and a biting social commentary.

I do hope the new generation is more informed than ours.
