Sweet and simple. Very well done. You're obviously a dog person. How can one not love dogs?? This reminded me of dogs I've had over the years and how much I still miss them. Knowing they're in Heaven playing in fields of gold makes missing them a little easier.

I love the artwork that you choose to go with your poem
I thought it was very cute. I know a few puppy's and our old dog made Tip Toe is running around heaven all day,

Hi Ine - an amusing little poem. If there is a Heaven and we go there, then why not animals also. An amusing line about there being no cats there - perhaps cats will also go though. I don't think HE would discriminate. Warm regards Dorothy x

I love the picture. I love the poem. I especially like the part about the cats. I believe my dogs are at Rainbow Bridge. They are waiting for me. We will be reunited and they will not shed hair. Great work.

This is cute. Excellent AABB rhyme, and I love your thought in the last line. Dogs would be in heaven if they didn't have to contend with the cats! There is an animal hospital in my town that has separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs. Why give them more to worry about? As a cat lover, I want a place for cats too. Maybe keep them in separate areas. judi

Hah-hah! Hey, I would have to agree with you completely there, Ine. I loathe cats -- everything about them. They're soulless beasts who only come around you if they want something from you. Kind of like your children when they grow up and fly the nest to live out on their own, heh-heh.

The contrast is really lacking in this poem. The foreground blended in with the back ground. dark on dark. I had to use a magnifying glass to read. This is very well written.

This is a delightful account. It could also be reversed to cats going to Heaven and being delighted that they are no dogs in Heaven. I love cats! Have a nice day!
