Great play on words, and the message within the message makes too much sense to me too. Humankind deserves a good mooning, is one way to take it - the other way could be seen as a crisis of faith...

Hadn't thought of your second interpretation. Thanks for your input.

It does look like that doesn't it. You'd be the one to so clever as to forever change my impression of the 'plump half circle.'
Fine senryu. Love all of the 'l' sounds.

Thanks, Ellen. I laughed at finding the perfect picture.

You've loaded lots of implied imagery and wordplay to this witty senryu. The image shows what you mean about the plump half circle. Now you're saying it's God's bum (not scientifically perfect,methinks), you may have a point. Clever wording, smile provoking fun.

Hi! Spitfire
I really do not understand this poem, don't really know how to review it. But I gave it a five. Perhaps it deserves more or less, I stand in between.
...Smiling...

Thanks, Mag. Interpretation could be a problem for those in a foreign country. Appreciate the faith based five.

Yikes! Do some men really have hair on their buttocks? That would be proof of evolution. L0L

I don't know about myself, Shari, as I'm not athletic enough to check, and I only have one mirror which saves me from laughing at myself and just allows me to shave...my FACE! LOL xx

Ha, ha, ha, mooning and laughing at our stupidity. This is a riot and so imaginitive. We all know that moonlight is simply the reflection of the suns rays, but I like your idea. This is some funny stuff there, Spitfire.

Glad you enjoyed, Eric. I added the notes for people in different cultures. Who knows? Maybe it's universal.

Hah! How do you think of this stuff (which is always very good, by the way) day in and day out, and do it so well, so consistently, Spit?
I laughed my...well, you know...off after reading your description above your title. I have to agree with you, too. Sometimes, we do deserve it indeed, LOL!
Good stuff. You never cease to amaze me. :}
