Hah! Well...this was definitely silly, and it was certainly hilarious, no doubts about that!

What cracked me up like an egg at a Betty Crocker Bake-off, was that the poem, satirically, took itself so seriously. It was as if the poor pooper-scooper was telling us of his daily woes in a deliberate & businesslike manner. To me, that made it even funnier.

Great write, you have gotten my vote!

Delightfully funny poem, beautifully written and rhymed. Definitely funny, but not funny - having to handle those mountains of crap and wade knee deep in the goo and the muck. Great job with poetic devices, alliteration 'shoveling shit' and 'dungeons of dung'. You paint quite the picture as we see both sides of this life-giving goo. I would find the smell nauseating, and probably hire somebody to do the dirty work ... ;)
