A very fun and playful write. I can't wait for summer to come. I wish I could get to the beach, but I will just imagine it through your creative writings. Good luck in the contest~Debbie

Super stuff!
I loved this poem. The presentation is brilliant and the imagery is awesome. It has such a lovely flow about a tender moment in summer time. "Sugared stars showering" very nicely written.
Great entry for contest

I wish I had more to say than 'great job'. You perfectly portrayed a setting of romance, with nice colors to accent the setting. It was surprisingly easy to imagine everything you placed. This could easily be made into a song.
Well, look at that... I said more than 'great job'.

Can't give you six or you would have had it, you are just so good at this.
Chock full of sensuous images, your usual wordplay with random rhymes popping up here and there and just a gorgeous picture of this scene between two lovers, oozing towards that lovely closing.
Good luck, though you probably don't need it - you seem to own just about every contest you enter.

This is a lovely poem, Sharyn, full of romance and a very enticing choice of words. It's easily visualized and flows like a dream. Nicely done.

You tease. This was a very flirtatious moment that had everything to stimulate the senses. Sticky fingers, the gulls crying, the sun burnished beaches and the male and female playing coyly while never quite touching until the end. Loved the scene you created. Nicely done.
