This is a lovely faith poem for the contest. I thought it was also a great ABC poem.

Couple of small edits but other than that I think you've voiced strongly your faith and its affirmation in this work. A good submission for this contest.

Thanks for sharing it and good luck in the contest.
Maureen

Edit check and suggestion:

"Chorus accapela" // acapella

"Forever heartbells ring" // heart bells

"Inner peace and rest (for) always" // I think removing the word 'for' makes this line stronger.:)

Thank you so much. If I had any certificates I would send a leprechaun right back 'attcha'.(by the way, I appreciated but it is never necessary:-) I hope you are having a good day. I am going to change the poem per your suggestions. Best always, Carolyn

Right on the money with this wonderful submission. Too often we see of people professing an outward appearance of belief, which really means nothing, for true faith begins with a changed heart. We praise our Lord and raise our hands for the world to see, as we are not ashamed of the gospel.

Keep within the Joy my friend.

Thank you, seems trivial to your message. I appreciate the comments and the reference to the gospel. Best to you always, Carolyn

Nothing is trivial, for when you have an expectation, you will reach levels beyond anything ever imagined. It all starts with a belief.

Nice poem. Has a hymn-like meter to it. Calls to mind the early religious poems of Elizabeth Barrett Browning a little bit. I love to see Christian poets working today. Thank you.

The Hallelujah Chorus A Capella by Handel is one of the most favourite pieces of all time. What a splendid short poem of praise you have written.

Well done.

Forever heartbells ring - heart bells! I like that; it reminds me of those bell shaped droop-y flowers- fox gloves!

Inner peace and rest for always - sometimes I wish for that; I think we all want inner peace when we're warring inside.

Thank you so much for your comments. I must look up fox gloves. I paint so that would be a good pic to go with the poem. My best to you always. Carolyn

Clever attestation of your belief. One spag. 'accapela' should read either 'a capella' or one word 'acapella' (former is best). Thanks for sharing - DJ

Hi DJ, I fixed the 'acapella' and thank you for the assistance. Have a great 2013. Carolyn

Beautifully written spiritual poetry where the line counts rise and fall like the notes on a musical page. Praise and faith are the central theme that resounds like beautiful music. Lovely!

Your faith shows through your poem in every line you wrote.
Your use of the ABC Alphabet form requires extra thought in addressing your message. Well written and God bless.
