This poem demonstrates your vivid imagination. I did the same in a poem of mine called "The slanting tree." Conveying a human emotion and mind to trees is wonderful but these are only my thoughts but would you not say a tree could have a spirit? Food for thought.

I loved the humour in this poem, and the picture of a willow tree, which is one of my favourite weeping trees..Quite cheeky but portrays a thought- could one kiss a tree and not look odd!? leaves a memory to ponder!
"bark can bray a sultry speech," how original to use the word bray, in association with a beautiful tree.Very different.Lesley.J.
