That is amazing! I loved it!! How clever to write a murder by a jealous cow! Mind you, that is not unheard of! I wish you the best of luck with this one, it rhymes well, the rhythm is great and it's soooooo funny!! xsx

This was so funny! I keep imagining a cow on Freud's couch! And I liked the sound made by'soggy kersplash'. Really lovely, good luck in the competition. Cherri

Wow! and Ewwww! This is a well-written, wickedly funny poem
about jealousy, and animals certainly can be jealous. What an end for Zach!

Great fun write with a lovely twist in the end. I love your images of all those gorgeous girls revelling in the farmers touch.
Shame jealousy is rife, even where we least expect it
Best of luck in the contest
hugs

I love the picture--cows are kind of cute! I grew up around them, we owned one that looked exactly like this cutie here in the photo!
This is so darned humourous--it tells a cute story of a farmer and the psychological mind of his cows;
Poor Zach, drowning in all that goo!
Nice alliteration in "faint,flawed and flimsy"
I also like the mention of the detectives--Columbo,he was my favourite!
Thank you for making me smile--great poem you have provided FS with!

Hahahaha that really made me laugh. What a great,witty poem and very well written. You could really envisage the cows, each one individually. Once again, great poem. Jaq

Had me engrossed from the first line. I think that's anapest or dactyl meter--I'm no expert there but I like the sing-song rhythm, nonetheless. Great story and a pleasing read. All the good ones come on at the same time--just like TV. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you for the great review and for the six stars. Yeah, one other entrant used the exact same meter and rhyme scheme - think it flows naturally from that first line which was required. Glad you enjoyed my piece of silliness.

what are the odds on that?
