That would be my dream come true, but I must remember the saying 'be careful you don't get what you wish for' I never did understand that one! My huge thanks for your wonderful review and fabulous six. Take care. Alexis x

Very intense, edge of your seat kind of action! I've read stories of characters like this in the paper. Real life monsters that are happy to take their own lives if it means they control you and cause you pain. I'm not usually the revenge type, but this might push me over the edge and into my dark place...lol...Love it! Lisa

Comment from Maureen's Pen
I Knew it!! Wow ok this was a fast chapter and grabs the reader by the teeth....Can't believe Lisa blurted it out about the safe especially after thinking the thoughts of keeping it silent. Death warrant indeed.
I think your really creative a great obsessive character with Nick that only gets more insane as chapters move forward.
Fabulous work a great heart thumping chapter from one of the best writers on this site. Loved it.
Didn't see any spag, just a few UK words that may cause an issue on this side of the pond.
I'm greedy, want more.....:)

Well, another dollar (or three!) another day. I think I'm going to rename Lisa sc after this chapter. She obviously has as few brains as her creator! So glad you enjoyed it. Can I have a day off tomorrow? Have to make myself tantalising for Valentines day, eh, maybe not! Love ya, BSC xxx

Hi alexisleech,
Right, so you had a dramatic event in mind at the end of your last chapter, and this certainly qualifies!
I haven't spotted any spag, the dialogues and the dramatic tension is good. Well done.

Comment from Roberta Joan Jensen
"He's just a friend[,] Nick - I met him at a party," she answered, --- In dialogue, when the speaker uses the name of the person he's talking to, that name is separated from the rest of the sentence by commas - before, after,or both, depending on where it is in the sentence.
Lisa remembered back to her mother and her generosity in the mornings after she'd been drunk and she'd abused her. --- Who'd've thoughtthere'd be a reason to be thankful for her mother's abuse, but at least it trained Lisa for dealing with Nick.
Okay, I takeitback. She didn't learn anything; especially not how to keep hermouth shut.
By the time the police turned up[,] there had already been reports of Nick's maniacal driving from other drivers who had called in on their mobiles,
When he tried to climb over the twisted metal of the crash barrier[] so he could see more clearly, the police stopped him.
recognised Nick['s] face immediately.
The fact that Lisa was now in the same position that Alan had been in two months before because of Nick's actions[] filled Richard with a bitter hatred.
As a lawyer, his profession dictated that he remain impartial --- Lawyers are very partial toward thier clients. It's for the judge to be impartial.
It's toosoon to give you another six, but this chapter deserves one. Well done.

Comment from Malerie
Poor, poor Lisa; fate just doesn't seem to deal with her fairly. Nick has certainly once again shown his true colors. I'm sure that Lisa will survive this attempt on her life but I'm nut sure what role Richard will now play in her life. Does he notify Alan of Lisa's accident? I'm sure the press will have the story covered but what will happen to Nick? I was thinking that maybe he would die in the accident and all of his wealth would be left to Lisa. I'm waiting to see where you go with this; keep writing, I'll keep reading.
