Thanks so much for sharing this fine poem. It was a good one to read and it was a pleasure. Nice presentation as well. If you are the daughter, then you must be following in their footsteps to become a writer.

Hi keimosobie,
You have written a fine poem about your good friend. It is an accomplished free verse with expressive word selection and an even flow. Well done....blessings, chey

Hi keimosobie
A very nice poem, it made me think f the times my wife asks me to "tell her a story" so she can relax and drift off ...
Good form, a good message and a nice rhythm.

What passion. This piece speaks to the heart from the heart and the soul is warmed by the near thought of holding another. Great structure and the tone fits the mood of the piece...dark lord

I read this poem a few times. It is very well-written. On the surface it does seem to be a message about the comfort received from a friend. But then at the end, you added "My song of virtue the voice of reason" which makes me wonder if there may also be a deeper meaning. Very good poem.

A romantic and blissfull poem of love, expressed so eloquently with a sincere message from the heart. The words flow smoothly and delicately. Great job.
