'Reflections Of Gratitude' is a nice poem. I think the first line should also act as the last line. Every verse seems to be a mouthful. There is so much appreciation for today and every day, but there is plenty to remember. Ending it the same way that you started it would re-establish the fact of what the poem is about. Good work.

But, to do it "right," the poet needs to know how to incorporate all of the poetic devices at his/her hand just like a chef adds the magic ingredients to create a fabulous soufle. You have! There is such deep wisdom and deep sincerity of tone in this poem. The language is elevated enough to match the elevated thoughts expressed. I also think highly of the measured pace to go with the gravity of thought. Excellent.

Then i analyzed as i'm wont to do, and the picture of some parent forgiving the murderer of their child came to mind.
And i just want to throttle them for not wanting to get revenge by any means possible. I'm not even sure i wish i didn't feel that way.
