Very nice and well done. It could be sung to a tune that never ends. It goes round and round and round. It starts with a line then ends with a line and has the same line in the middle. A bit of a political holiday poem. It says the same thing three times, each sounds different and tickles the ear. Mike

I think you've captured the essence of the season with this beautiful poem. The flow is perfect as are the rhymes. I've no suggestions for improvement. Thanks for crafting and sharing your poem. -ray

This is very well written. I have trouble thinking of Dec. 25TH being called Jesus' Birthday. I prefer saying the day representing Jesus' Birth. Your poem is very well written and deserves the stars.

Thank you, Charlie. Yes, I know it's not actually his birthday, but it's hard to get technical in a poem :-) I appreciate your most generous and gracious review! Brooke :-)

hey
your poem is lovely, it sounds like a hymn
the content made me remember that when we sing a carol we are sending up prayers and thanks and the carols are a meditation to dwell upon
your poem would be close to a very fulfilling meditation
have a smiley day

I wish that all the world would take the true meaning of Christmas and just live like that all the time. It doesn't matter what people believe in if goodness and peace and love are at the root of it all.

Hi Brooke,
A lovely Yuletide verse, I like the rhythmn and the message. Triolet form? It works well with this particular verse and message.

Thanks so much, Patrick - sorry for the delayed response of this one, and yes, it is a triolet, an 8 line poem with ABaAabAB rhyme scheme with the capital letters being repeated lines :-) Brooke

Brooke,
This is a wonderful Christmas poem, triolet. I enjoyed the Christian message. The artwork and colors work so well making the presentation festive and beautiful!
Thank-you for sharing this with me. I know Peter will love this too as he loves this style and that it contains a spiritual theme!
