Brooke-That was a beutiful mind painting of the forest after a good snow.
Sorry to hear your snowed in, but glad your turning out the poetry while snowed in. What part of the world do you live in?
Cheers

Scott, thanks for your lovely review - I live near Philadelphia, PA. By this weekend it will be in the 50's and hopefully all melt and stay away until next winter :-) Thanks, Brooke

Wonderful words written about "Admission Free." The art work you described here is a gift, that nature gives to us, to enjoy on this earth. The magic within God's creation of all things is really something wonderful.
The shadows on the snow is a special gift God gives to us.
I loved everyword written here.
Honeytree.

This poem is absolutely fabulous and gorgeous - you have allowed me imagine your view! The complex structure you selected has only enhanced such a beautiful work and your rhyme is impeccable. I am sick of winter myself, but you certainly made it magical again. Great job!

There are so many beautiful finds on this, Brooke, I lost count. You brought winter back to me, to my drawing room in Las Vegas, where we haven't seen snow for a while. Great imagery, excellent vocabulary, cute and unique rhyming scheme. No suggestions for improvement, looks great. Yes, admission is free to God's gallery (great find).

I was not pleased with yesterday's snow, either... but agree as to it's beauty. Very apt minute poem of appreciation.
Thanks for sharing,

Brooke, this paints the most beautiful picture. Winter beauty can be one of the most inspiring seasons. This is wonderfully written, as usual. :)

I do love winter and we got 2 feet of snow out of the storm. To help with the dark winters here we use full spectrum light bulbs. Alaska is one of those places you either love or hate. I love it. LOL

Once again, as with all your creative
poetic thought, it is clear to see
God's grace flowing through your
lines from heart to pen. Another gem.

Beautifully written, my friend. Though I don't miss the cold of living up north, I do sometimes miss a a good snow storm and it's resulting loveliness. You've captured it well. I didn't see anything that needs your attention or correction.
great work - sherry

It is far too much snow for me - I'm just trying to make the best of it by looking for the silver lining - I still hate the stuff!!! :-D Thanks, Brooke I don't hate you just because you get to live in the paradise of New Zealand!
