Pili, what a beautiful combination of words and picture. The picture just reminded me I forgot to go out and look at the partial eclipse of the moon tonight. Oh, well! Such is life. Maybe I'll see it in my dreams. Good job.

souls,
conveying

Wow. This is what good wording in poetry is about. I really like this one.

Phil,
This is a good poem without any problems that I could find. It gives an excellent series of images. A few more words...

Hello my friend,
A beautiful, breath taking piece of art you have penned. The imagery dances off the page and allows the readers imagination to take over... Wonderful write and thanks for sharing... Dancing in Dreams

This is a lovely poem, Pili Pubul. I loved "a star sheds its petals." You used beautiful imagery here. I see nothing to change.

I loved the night time imagery your words have conveyed throughout the flowing passages. It is so peaceful and tranquil to envision. The mysticism is wonderfully presented throughout this read. jeana

The poem shines through like a petal from the star over the ocean 'piercing the tremulous colossus waves,/outreaching for the golden sand.' I've seen such a star before while looking at the sea but never saw it in the light as painted by you. 'Wrapped in songs from ancient souls/conveying their lament to the night' brings to me the songs of the waves travelling from you know not where, and playing full tune on your lonely heart. Love the poem.

Have no idea where you are going with this one, but can report its subliminal influence on me: an integrated cosmic consciousness that includes animate and inanimate. Have no idea why, but that is what came over me as I read. Slainte, rhymer1
