This one has fever and passion and certainly moves along like the best melodrama. It almost echoes Bradbury in a way, Nice Stretch of the imagination. Regards from Gerard

Thank you, Gerard, so happy you liked it. This is an extension of the first poem that I wrote called The Meld. Thought it might be fun to carry on the concept for a little while. Maybe make a story out of this blind poetry who knows no I really appreciate you reading and offering your thoughts. I'm so very happy you liked it. That's the best and I appreciate your time too. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and a great night!

Very deep, you see the depths we all can feel at times, searching for reasons unknown. Reasons of our true existence, why are we here, where does life begin.? Can't help myself as trained in biology but two independent cellular entities discovering each other with a direction defined already.

I love this, never thought I was a plethora of anything. Maybe Magnificento and Bellissimo, incarnate applies. My daughter one time said I smelled like dog poop, No word for that. Maybe obsequious. A new writer as I can't do what I wish, be a healer, I was good , animals told me, be plethoric, they needed me.

you do write the strangest things. At first I thought it was a play on the word, manatee, (although I thought it was spelled, manitee), but since it wasn't, that blew that theory.) So, what theory is it? Oh, I see, I missed the first one and this is a continuation of it.
Well, I shall have to say a new race grown from the earth would interesting, (other than your second line about life oozing a pestilent defense) so this new life will not be friendly? I hope I'm wrong.
What an imagination you have. Arborlife. Fascinating.

Hi katharine! The line you mentioned about oozing a pestilen defense. What that means when I wrote it, at least to myself was that life was dying. So it's going to use its last defense by spilling out disease, that's what pestilence means which I'm sure you already know it's to to spread illness and so This was the last ditch effort from the old living creatures to stop what was happening. So as they rotted, turned into this oozing mess, they spilled out disease as their last hurrah. New life comes along called Manitree, a mix of man and tree is the result when the two life types meld. Kinda creepy?I know a little bit fantasy, a little bit science fictionist, sort of. Ah, my brain went down a funky road. Thank you so very much. I'm so glad you spent the time to read it.And it's consider it and offer your comments and your great rating too! I truly wish you and yours. A wonderful holiday isn't that? You're having a great evening too!
